Window Outfitters provided excellent service from the start of the sale with Ernest Duberry, to Paul staying connected with us informing us of what to expect while waiting for the project to start, to Robert(Bob) guiding us through the process as they did the install. The entire crew were very respectable and knowledgeable. One of the crew members swung back by my house when I couldn't figure out how to lock one of the windows. Great customer service.
Laura Calhoun2022-09-29We built a new home in 2017, and worked through our window mfr (Alpen) to have a couple Provia doors installed. In 2021, the outside trim around one of the glass panes in the back door cracked. It took several months for us to work a warranty claim through Alpen to Provia and eventually get replacement parts. Then, neither company could offer any service providers in the Twin Cities to install the new trim. I found Window Outfitters online as a supplier of Provia doors and gave them a call. Bob Davis bent over backwards to help me out! While they don't typically service doors that they haven't installed, Bob made it his personal mission to get our trim fixed. Ultimately, he and Glen, from Provia, came out and fixed the door together. Not only did they get the new trim in and looking great, but they corrected the hinge that had always made the door stick horribly on the bottom (such that my kids couldn't even open the door on their own). Now, the door opens with no trouble and our trim is ready for the MN winter :-) Many thanks to Bob for his persistence and commitment to customer service. We are VERY happy customers!
Rodney Vizer2022-08-01We recently purchased a couple ProVia exterior doors and several ProVia windows from Window Outfitters. Elizabeth in sales offered a great deal of support during selection. She was very good at listening to any concerns, paid careful attention to details of what we wanted, and quickly responded to any questions. It did not feel like the typical sales process. We were never rushed, and this ensured we were confident with our decisions and completely satisfied with the end result. Tom did an excellent job with replacement and installation. Measurements taken were spot on, and everything fit like a glove. Tom came prepared every day, and his attention to detail and excellent workmanship were noticeable every step of the way. Each day work areas were cleaned and left better than when the day started. My wife and I were impressed with the level of perfectionism, as there are few individuals that operate this way anymore. Clearly, there is a high level of pride with employees at Window Outfitters and it shows. We are happy with our purchase...especially the enlarged window in our living room. It is quite the site, literally. Thank you to Elizabeth, Tom, and everyone at Window Outfitters for making this a positive experience. If you need doors and windows, look nowhere else!

What Elizabeth didn't do is why we're writing this positive review - she DIDN'T come in and simply tell us that all of our windows need replacing. She told us the truth about what we need and don't need. Elizabeth took the time to listen to our concerns, helped educate us on what is causing some of the issues we are seeing (hint: NOT the window), and recommended a course of action to solve some smaller issues. Someday we will need new windows in our home, when that day comes, we'll be calling Elizabeth and Window Outfitters.
