As you’re driving around the Minneapolis metro area you may have noticed some homes with vibrantly colored front doors. What you’re seeing is a home exterior design trend that’s been incredibly hot for the past several years. Decorators – and homeowners – are loving the look, because it really adds to the curb appeal of a home, especially when it’s the front door. After all, your front entry area should be the focal point of the outside of your home, and having a colored door that’s in contrast to your siding and trim will draw the eye right to it. You could paint your doors if you’ve got wood ones, but we have a better suggestion: Check out the colored entry and storm doors available from one of our favorite suppliers, ProVia.
