A major trend in home design and renovation in the past few years is blurring the lines between indoor and outdoor living spaces. The pandemic and work-from-home as well as school-from-home resulted in people shifting their lifestyles do doing more things in their own homes. And while the restrictions are either gone or substantially relaxed, many homeowners got used to home-based activities. For some, that meant an expansion of their outdoor living areas. Outdoor kitchens are suddenly a hot thing. Patios and decks have expanded to accommodate more things than just sunbathing and grilling.

If you’re moving between indoor and outdoor spaces often, you’d want to be as easy and seamless as possible. The typical sliding patio door just won’t to that, and neither will hinged doors. Time to expand your thinking and consider a wall of glass, such as a multi-panel sliding door. Imagine if the wall between your deck and your living room were totally open when needed! With the right doors, it can be!
