This panelized, mortarless stone veneer has so many different applications. We have used it on a number of homes around the Minneapolis and St. Paul area in combination with other siding products like James Hardie® fiber cement and Craneboard insulated vinyl siding. Since this cultured stone product is so durable, it’s perfect for the lower section of a home – to protect the base from damage. You’ll note the home shown here as a gravel mulch around the home. Occasionally when we get those high wind storms common to our area, that stone might be blown against the side of the house. In a case like that, you’ll appreciate the protective coating this stone gives. It’s rated up to 110 mph winds (that covers F1 tornadoes). And since it comes with a 50-year transferable warranty, you know it will stand up for years to come.
Another benefit of this product is that because it is panelized, it’s very easy to install. It isn’t heavy like real masonry would be, nor do you need a stone or brick mason to install it. We’ve wrapped columns like the one shown above, which provide a stately accent at a fraction of the cost of real stone.
