• Anyone who assists you at the store is a sales professional, not an installation technician.  There job is to get you to buy something, not to help you figure out what the right door or replacement window solution is for you and your home.  They often have a list of products the store is pushing that month, and those products may not be what’s the best thing for you.
• The store associate may refer to the warranty but likely won’t go over the fine print with you.  In most cases, a warranty is void if the manufacturer’s specific installation instructions and methods aren’t used. 
• A door or window only performs as it’s designed to if proper installation procedures are followed.  The most energy-efficient window can still leak air if it isn’t put in place properly. We stand behind our workmanship, and we’ll work to get it right, to your satisfaction.
  
• If you don’t have the right tools, you’ll have to rent or buy them, which will add to the cost.
