Unlike many of our competitors who install windows and doors from a couple of companies, we have a list of several manufacturers, each with multiple product lines. Why so many? Because we believe that each company (and each of their product lines) offers benefits or products that the others don’t. We’ve carefully evaluated each one, and we do this on a regular basis. If you’ve followed us for an extended period of time you may be aware that occasionally we drop a company we’ve worked with before (or they cease doing business), or we may add a company and/or product line. The goal is to make sure that what we have available offers our prospective clients choices to meet their priorities as well as their budget.
The modern, up-to-date look is one of the top trends in home design and remodeling right now, and it has been for several years. Even traditional looks such as the farmhouse style have a modern twist to them. As we examined our available options, we found that most of them are very traditional. Yes, several of the window and door companies we partner with have modern style options, but we found in Marvin’s Modern line some things that may be lacking in other product lines.

The fiberglass windows and patio door frames that make up the Modern line are manufactured of high-density fiberglass for terrific energy efficiency. You can expect exceptional thermal performance, an important indicator of the ability to prevent heat loss or transfer. The slim, narrow frames maximize light in the window or door opening (as well as the view). And the style of the window and door design fits in well with modern architectural design. You’ll notice that all the window styles have very slender frames and are without grids or multiple sashes to break up sight lines. Both awning and casement windows are available in crank or push-out operation. The direct glaze is a fixed window.
The two door styles are patio door options. The double modern swing door is extremely popular. And if you’ve got a great outdoor space you want maximum access to, the multi-panel slide door can open up an entire wall, making the transition from indoor to outdoor living almost seamless.
